For this task, in groups we had to show off basic camera and angle shots through a storyboard for a short story. We had to plan out the storyboard to ensure that we could show the story over 8 different shots. Our 8 different shots included close up shot, extreme close up shot, medium shot, long shot, high angle, low angle, point of view and eye view. In our groups we were given a camera, tripod and a different movie genre to re-create. For our storyboard we portrayed the 'romance' genre. The storyboard shows a girl waiting for time to pass by before she gets to see her boyfriend again.

A Little About Me.
Hi my name's Emily Law, i'm 17 years old and my candidate number is 9289. I am currently studying AS Media studies at Sixth Form @ Swakeleys as well as English Language & Literature, Business studies and Art.
I have created this blog to show evidence for my foundation portfolio. This means that I will be uploading any research and work I have done. The reason I have chosen to pursue media at AS Level is because I studied the subject as GCSE and enjoyed it so I thought that I'd carry it on into A Levels. After sixth form i'm still unsure whether to study marketing or fine art at university.
As part of my A Level coursework, I am creating the opening 2:00 minutes to a horror film. To succeed in this I will have to carry out research and show evidence so that I find my opening scene's to meet the same standard as a convention movie of the horror genre.
